This was no where near as good as it could have been. I only gave it the rating I did because I am a fan of all of the live-action lead actors! Storyline wise...it should have been more of an origin thing.
The director assumes that just because he knows who the Smurfs are that today's kids will too. Shame on him! Hearing Smurfette talk about her origin is nowhere near as awesome as it would have been to actually see it.
This should have been the sequel! But Gargamel did crack me up occasionally.
