Okay...
Was this a kids movie? I don't know... the fact that the storyboard itself looks like an adult at work, I don't have much to say...
The movie had four writers. And none of them, at least once, thought to himself that putting those kid-friendly creatures with obnoxious men and women only thinking about money and business would probably not appeal to kids?
I don't know, the movie is so constantly filled with humanity and reality that you might even forget that you are watching what is supposed to be fantasy.
Yes kids, it's supposed to be a tribute to Peyo's most famous creations. I know a lot of people liked the movie though. But hey, I'd stick to the TV show and the comics if I were you.
