Same response and level, but the sequel's level has been changing frequently when there are same types of moments - and reused points and elements - such as dull, annoying and eyes-rolling, and also being more silly and childish and probably a bit louder.
Those things make this film for kids only - as I was embarrassed watching a kiddie film like this. But what manage to bring the level back up is when it's funnier and there are more heartening moments.
The sequel's equally good, like its predecessor, and enjoyably watchable, but only for a one time viewing. (B-).
