The two stars is for the incredible Jonathan Winters, the voice of Papa Smurf.. The movie itself is only getting 1 star from me because they literally trashed The Smurfs, they had the chance to have the greatest comeback ever but how they were brought back was a complete insult to them.
Nothing good came out of both films, the second one was more pointless than the first one. I honestly can't tell you who pulled off the best performance, not even the great Neil Patrick Harris couldn't make it better.
It's no different than the first one, it just gives Hank Azaria more goofing off time as Gargamel. I would love to see a remake all done CGI and have it stay in Smurf village/Gargamel's Castle.
