Review of The Slumber Party Massacre (1982) by Paulo T — 24 May 2010
Awesome early 80's slasher does do the Halloween route but does it with style and class unlike most. A popular girl invites her friends for a slumber party for old times sake and the guys invite themselves over later but a killer with a power drill has chosen them for a killing spree and only the neighbouring unpopuar girl with her cute but sassy younger sister can help.
Awesome acting with pretty ladies and one creepy and ugly looking killer (best way def no lecter here) The direction is both serious and comedy at the same time making the gals smart cookies and the boys dumb for a change of pace thou the ladies do the odd dumb move at times.
Not ovelry gory but just enough blood. The scene where the girls evesdrop on another making an unasked phone call and the killers fate are def highlights.
