Review of The Slammin' Salmon (2009) by Miquel J — 12 Mar 2010
Broken Lizard always makes enjoyable movies. Slammin' Salmon was pretty much another "Waiting", but Michael Clark Duncan made it even more hilarious. The characters are great as always. Premise: a high-class seafood restaurant needs to make $20K in one night, so the manager gives the waiters a contest where whoever makes the most wins a prize. As a result, hilarious antics ensue. Simple enough, probably wouldn't have been as good without Broken Lizard at the helm.
Not their best. In my biased opinion, their movies go: Beerfest, Super Troopers, Slammin' Salmon, Club Dread, then that other older movie I don't remember the name of.
