Review of The Slammin' Salmon (2009) by Cade H — 13 Apr 2010
The Broken Lizard comedy team hit gold with Super Troopers. Then they hit rock bottom with Club Dread. Beerfest brought them back up and Slammin Salmon keeps them right in the middle. For the most part the characters are amusing and they each have a lot of life and add fun to the movie.
The only thing that is a downer is that they try really hard to create laughs and only some of them work. The restaurant setting was great and provided plenty of good scenes but when Super Troopers set the bar so high not even this mildly funny comedy could come close to it.
