So the guys behind "Super Troopers," and "Beerfest," bring us their latest shenanigans in "The Slammin' Salmon." I was surprised that this movie really lacked any publicity.

I hadn't heard much about it and I'm not sure it was ever released in theaters. This is a shame because it really is a fairly decent comedy. However, the comparison it has to "Waiting" kinda stales that movie a little bit.

It's not as good as "Super Troopers," and "Beerfest," but it is still very enjoyable. Unlike their previous films, the Broken Lizard comedy group let one of the other members direct this flick.

In the other films Jay Chandrasekhar, the darker skin guy, has directed all their films and in this one Kevin Heffernan, the fatter guy who played Farva in "Super Troopers," directs and does a great job.

The performances are as expected when it comes to an comedy, and each actor does a great job in building their character. There are a few special guest who show up in the film, but the real star of this movie is Michael Clarke Duncan, the big black guy from "The Green Mile.

" His performance steals this movie and it's awesome to see him play a more comedic character. He really delivers and is extremely funny. So, all-in-all, it's solid comedy and I highly reccommend it to anyone who is a big fan of the Broken Lizard Comedy Group, but for the casual viewer it is well worth a rental.
