Yes, the title refers to a secret elitist society, and before we know anything about it, that seems pretty cool. It's once the secrets come to light that the coolness wears off, the film falls into cliches and the society's secrets end up being, well, more interesting when they were still secret.
Like the society portrayed in the movie, this film is more interesting if left unseen.
