Oh man did I love this movie! While it certainly doesn't hurt that I am big fan of Hammer and Amicus productions, this was an exceptional film even within that catalog. The atmosphere and suspense are really well done, and Cushing's acting is superb.
Freddie Francis's talent as a director is also apparant in many of the mood establishing shots that he creates.
