Review of The Skin I Live In (2011) by Cooper L — 29 Mar 2012
It is not Pedro Almodovar in his best but is still impressive that he never loses his ability of surprising and shocking us. In this thriller, he mixes Ã?tame! (1990) and Volver (2006) but it also reminds me El Secreto de Sus Ojos (The Secret in Their Eyes) (2009).
It is so impressive that insanity of revenge, and so predictable at the same time. It is Almodovar and always worth watching except for the horrible Portuguese that two of the characters try to speak.
