The Skin I Live In is an incredible film and Pedro Almodóvar's best film.After his wife is burned in an accident, Dr. Robert Ledgard (Antonio Banderas) tries to find a way to make skin more resistant.
One of the ways he does it is by experimenting on a boy who raped his daughter at a friends wedding as an act of revenge.The plot is a work of art, the score was brilliant, the editing was impressive, the cinematography was beautiful and the acting was well done especially by Banderas and Anaya.
Pedro Almodóvar directs this with so much style and darkness and really has nimine for the Academy Award for Foreign Language Film written all over it.Captivating and Masterful are the words for this film.
