This film felt very "Park Chan-Wook" inspired compared to the filmmakers other films...but I think it worked quite well. The story floats, rather than escalates but it still delivers a long last punch at that.
Not my favourite Almodovar film, but quite close. There are a few moments and questions I felt should have been completed and answered rather than left unknown in this type of movie.
