Review of The Skeleton Twins (2014) by Dave T — 25 Sep 2014
Such excellent performances from both Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig.
Very raw, edgy, heartfelt, and sweet.
a married sister and her gay brother come back to another after a 10-year absence and it looks like they're about to re-kindle their relationship.
The family is pretty broken and it's very sad once you learn why they've drifted from one another.
Everyone is screwed up in their own right and we don't have to be stuck in that one place in our lives forever.
Are we living the lives we chose right now or are we just passing through distracting ourselves from disappointment?
These two people share something special and that should count enough when it comes to family even if it is dysfunctional at certain points.
