Review of The Skeleton Twins (2014) by Kristin B — 13 Jan 2015
Don't assume this film is all laughs based on the SNL alum cast. While it has its light hearted moments (with lip synching "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" topping those moments), we are always brought back to the troubles brewing under the surface of Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig's characters.
Hader's performance is a particular stand out, playing the sad clown brilliantly. I hope to continue to see him in serious films if this performance is any indication of what may come from him in the future.
