Review of The Sixth Sense (1999) by Elena S — 10 Oct 2012
WARNING, if you have never seen The Sixth Sense, please stop reading my review, don't ask anything about it or let anybody tell you anything about it, just watch it. Know this, it is awesome, watch it then feel free to read my review and tell me what you thought.
This was my introduction to M. Night, and man, what an introduction. Sixth Sense is a suspenseful master piece that holds your eyes to the screen and makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, just like they mention in the movie. The acting from Willis, Osment and Collette is great and really makes you feel for the characters. The plot is original, the tension that is built up is taut and then, BAM, there is the twist. Just awesome. It is also cool how watching this movie the second time is a completely different experience then the first. Although this is not my favorite M.Night Shyamalan movie (Unbreakable holds that title) it is a totally mind blowing movie that is pretty much great on all levels, and totally deserves five stars I am giving it.
