Review of The Sixth Sense (1999) by William S — 22 Oct 2012
List of pluses and minuses for this long film that was shown on TV:
+ Has a peaceful, mysterious, thoughtful, relaxing mood. There's no rushing with this movie.
- Its extremely slow-paced.
+ The idea does have surprising and original elements and the film is well directed and atmospheric.
- but there are all the usual cliches with some melodrama.
- The child actor acts like a grown up through the whole film which looks a bit odd since he's supposed to be a kid, and most of the characters remain distant.
