Review of The Sixth Sense (1999) by Lucas Augusto C — 09 Oct 2014
The Sixth Sense, as the phrase on the poster says, is the best thriller of all time! The classic M. Night Shyamalan has delighted and charmed many people with his secret essence that leaves everyone gaping.
Ecstatic and intelligent, the panting while suffocating Shyamalan's thriller is a timeless classic of American cinema, in one of its finest and most memorable films. With a misleading story that could easily be clichéd, the film tells the story of Malcolm Crowe, a psychologist who treats children with problems. Until one day in your path crosses Cole Sear, a young boy who sees dead often played relentlessly and intensely by Haley Joel Osment, who gives life to terrifying character. Around the movie, we see striking and profound performances, highlighted Bruce Willis, a character rarely seen in his conflicted and full of action movie career. Toni Collette, actress Muriel's Wedding comes a mature, serious and mysterious character, which earned Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2000.
