Review of The Six Wives of Henry Lefay (2009) by Paavo L — 01 Jan 2011
I wasn't expecting much from this one to be honest. After painfully peeling my eyes open watching Crazy on the Outside, I wasn't thrilled to witness another Tim Allen train wreck. And after about a half an hour through this one, I thought it was going to end up the same, but something happened at about the halfway point that really made me start liking what I saw.
While it's not a great movie, it is way more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be. Maybe it was my limited expectations going in, but the comical element really pulls through in the second half, even though the end is extremely predictable. Not even an appearance from one of the worst actors in the biz, Chris Klein, could make me hte this movie, as it appears many critics did. Maybe you would at least agree its better than Crazy on the Outside.
