Review of The Sitter (2011) by Scifi M — 04 Jul 2012

I was pleasantly surprised with 'The Sitter', it was quite funny in some places, the acting was up to scratch and Jonah Hill was Jonah Hill. I expected it to be a lot worse with the bad reviews.

The film is very cliche, with a basic premise where Jonah Hill's character would end up in over-the-top situations involving the kids he's babysitting, the situations were sometimes too much and unrealistic but still funny and entertaining.

Overall 'The Sitter' is an average comedy film, it makes you laugh but it could be better. I'd recommend '21 Jump Street' or 'Superbad' over this but it's still pretty good, charming in places and overall enjoyable, I'd give it a go if I were you.
