It had some funny moments and Sam Rockwell certainly stole the show. However, this film was bland, lazy, and formulaic. Basically, if you take Adventures In Babysitting and Date Night, add a lot of swearing, and avoid three-dimensional characters, you have The Sitter.
David Gordon Green usually makes great films, so I was left confused as to how it got this bad. This film might have had the potential to be great, but the whole thing seemed like it was rushed out the door.
