It's really too bad Jonah Hill did a great performance in a not-so-great movie. He plays Noah, who has no problem being himself while he is babysitting three kids. He uses curse words as if he were talking to an adult, and he has no problem explaining the details of current events, his entanglements, and his life and lore.

The movie is dirty, yes, but merely because the incidents occur around young kids. Nothing too raunchy here. Nothing too funny, either. The film is so fucking clumsy that sometimes I wondered why I was still there.

Maybe it was hope. I thought there was a possibility that this movie could turn itself around. It prods as it devolves, almost like it is praying for you to enjoy the next scene, which of course, is no better.

As I said, I enjoyed Jonah Hill's performance and I would love to have his exact same character in a far better movie. Sam Rockwell is also wonderful as always. Do these guys seriously look at these scripts and think they are great? Do they think that maybe if THEY are in the crappy movie, they can make it great with their own performances? Let's just put it this way, if it wasn't for Jonah Hill and Sam Rockwell, this film would be given no stars.
