Review of The Sitter (2011) by Brent D — 27 Jun 2012
Kind of a modern male "adventures in babysitting" type deal. There's plenty of laughter once they get out of the house and two of the kids do a remarkable job (the adopted one basically played to every chicano cliche in the screenwriters handbook.
...for shame, child). Sam Rockwell was hilarious as the super-aggressive drug dealer who just wants to be everybody's friend and may or may not actually be (a) a nice guy, (b) insane, (c) gay, or (d) any or all of the above.
The ending is predictable standard, but everything else is so much fun so that's okay.
