Not terrible but not great either. Hasn't this kind of plot been rehashed several times over the years? I guess the difference is that this version features some crude, debaucherous humor and rough language, sometimes used by the kids themselves.
The 3 kids are cute, especially Blithe. Her character is actually the most realistic of the three. I always get the feeling that Jonah Hill improvs a lot of his dialogue. Sometimes he's funny, sometimes he's not.
There's some amusing situations here (Sam Rockwell is SO unbelievably bizarre as Karl the drug lord) but I probably wouldn't watch it again.
