Review of The Sitter (2011) by Tony Z — 15 Nov 2012
The Sitter - Jonah Hill in a comedy? Who would've known? This movie was pretty funny. I laughed pretty much through the whole thing. The movie about a late 20's guy who still lives at home and finds himself babysitting to earn some extra cash.
The kids really floored me, especially the little hispanic kid. A very good look at the youth of today...and parents with little girls about tween age...make sure you have your kids watch the little girl in this movie and show them how fuckin ridiculous it is that these little GIRLS these days are dressing and acting like Hooches.
..Paris Hilton ruined our youth I think. But this movie was really funny, I highly recommend it. The characters were very one sided...You didnt have a big chance to get to like them all that much. And it seems a little to far fetched that this guy who goes into this babysitting gig HATING these kids all of a sudden just develops a massive heart for them in the course of like 3 hours.
Not buying it...but a good movie otherwise...funny at the least. I give it 4 out of 5 Tube Thumbs Up...Its good, but not great.
