Review of The Sitter (2011) by Josh W — 07 Dec 2013
You've seen this film hundreds of times before: outsider gets put to the task to take care of a dysfunctional group of kids. Both sides don't get along at first. Zaniness ensues. Moral lessons are taught through a melodramatic phase of the film.
Both sides get along. They're friends. They live happily ever after, yada yada yada. There are some laughs to be had, and Sam Rockwell, as always, makes a memorable appearance as the film's antagonist, but you'll see every plot development coming.
