Review of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) by Emily R — 22 May 2011
I haven't read the book, but the movie itself is a wonderful coming-of-age story about friendship and accountability during a summer of love and loss. It does deal with some strong issues, including familial problems, sex (appeal), angst, and fear.
Handled in a way that not only girls will appreciate. Four lead atresses are perfect. Now here's a movie with believable and engaging teenage characters.
