Review of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) by Michelle F — 28 May 2011
This film is about four best friends. For the first time in their lives, they all will be spending the summer apart. Right before they're going to seperate, they go shopping. In a vintage shop they find a jeans, magically fitting all the four girls. The girls decide to get the jeans each for one week, and then sending it to the next. While the jeans is their 'binder', the girls hope it will bring some luck as well.
Magical. This movie is so simple but just breathes positive messages. The story is about changing, growing up, following your dreams but above all about friendship. It has many underlying details. This movie makes me happy. Of course it's a chickflick with the well known clichés. But that didn't bother me. The combination between humour and drama was perfect to me. I liked Tibby's and Bridget's stories the most.
Cute, probably innocent and absolutely amazing!
