I think the reason I like this movie so much is because it is more than it appears to be. This movie isn't about the acting or the set design or the amazing settings (which it does have - beautiful Mexican beaches & gorgeous Grecian views).
It's not even about a pair of pants. It's about the lives of these girls and the relationships they share. I usually hate it when they try to make teens overly mature in movies and TV, but this movie succeeds in portraying difficult situations and how these teens mature through them.
..with the help of one another.
