Review of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) by Meg T — 27 Nov 2008
All right! Before people start laughing incessantly, I too thought that this movie was retarded before even watching it because of it's "feminine" disposition. However, once I watched it, I see that it's something anyone can relate to.
It's kinda like Sailor Moon. Sure, it's girly, but it has so many other things that are cool about it. I can especially relate to Carmen, because like her, I too have a broken family and never had a concept of what "family" really means.
Like I said, anyone can relate to these stories. Not only that, but it gives you a good insight of how a female's mind works (me being a male). I didn't think that having pants that universally fit all 4 friends were such a big deal :) I also think it shows what true friendship should be, which is something I think is a lost art nowadays.
