Review of The Singing Detective (2003) by Katie Y — 15 Oct 2008
The first half hour or so of this film was difficult to get through due to its heavy sexual content. But once I managed through I found myself enjoying this eccentric premise of a writer trying to find himself.
Downey Jr. gave a very convincing performance as said writer/detective. Another surprise was Mel Gibson's place in the film. Utter genius on his part and throughly entertain portrayal as the eccentric psychiatrist.
