Review of The Simpsons Movie (2007) by Jeremy L — 20 Mar 2013

It took about 20 years, 20 YEARS for a movie to finally be made, but it is worth it to see them go all out. We all know the Simpson family would be the main protagonists, but surprisingly, it's regular staff member Albert Brooks who steals the show as the major antagonist, who is determined to prevent the world noticing about Springfield's recent blemish caused by none other than Homer Simpson.

They also came up with some jokes that we couldn't have seen in the show's regular run; they'd normally come up with boring jokes and plotlines that could've put the movie as a whole down.

However, Matt Groening and his loyal staff and actors have repaid the long-serving fans with a movie that had a unique storyline, great jokes, and even plots that keep you awake, even if it wasn't meant to be funny.

I'm guessing the main point of this review is... If you're wondering why you're a Simpsons fan, you might as well watch this movie, and the show's earlier seasons, to see why.
