Well-timed and original, this was a very good movie. It does remind of the old Simpsons days, when there was a slickness and goofiness and cheapness that reminds you of the old cartoons for dummies that enjoy things like this that are emotional and dark and have something for everyone.
It really is a well done piece of high art that will give everyone what they can reasonably expect from a heartfelt and mad movie like this. I quite liked this as it was fun, funny, heart-tugging, and sweet as well as more resemblant of the old simpsons days when there was just more of a smoke!y retro vibe and less of a excessive modern vibe of beastly gluttony.
