OMG, "The Simpsons Movie". Where to begin? Well as a longtime fan of the show, I was expecting the movie to deliver. And boy, did it ever. You can tell the creators went above and beyond to make "The Simpsons Movie" a memorable experience.
The animation is more detailed, the story doesn't feel like an extended episode (yes!), and the laughs are practically non-stop. Another thing that struck me was how *honest* it was. Since we all know the characters well, we can easily feel for them and understand a lot of their problems, even if it's on a grander scale.
With that said, "The Simpsons Movie" is not just a good movie adaptation of a TV show, it's a good animated film, PERIOD.
