Review of The Silent House (2010) by Sanjid P — 09 May 2011
I have no idea about how much Uruguay has been involved in the genre film making but as my first horror film from Uruguay I'm here pretty impressed with this one. The Silent House comes with a spooky-haunted house as well as psychological horror story and we all already know it was shot in one single continuous take without cuts like the Colombian drama-thriller PVC-1 (2007).
Though it takes its time to build up the tension & help to understand its viewers what's actually going on but in the midway of the film you'll find some decent sudden creepy encounters. As a wholel I think it's a pretty good effort from Uruguay.
