Silence of the Lambs (1991): This thriller directed by Jonathan Demme (The Manchurian Candidate {2004}, Philadelphia) follows a young FBI agent (Jodi Foster) who seeks the knowledge of the incarcerated yet renowned serial killer Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) so she can find another killer on the loose.
Dark, gritty, suspenseful, and well acted; this film is a must see. R- Rated, 114 minute runtime.
