Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Grant K — 29 Jan 2013
"...I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti...".
Demme's "The Silence of The Lambs" has been copied many times, but will never be duplicated. Horrific, terrifying, bold, original and completely disgusting, the film is probably the best thriller ever made with some career defining performances from Hopkins and Foster.
Fun fact: look for musician Chris Isaak as the SWAT leader in an obscure cameo.
