Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by President P — 05 May 2013
One of the most horrifying and smart films ever to be produced. Silence of the Lambs is truly marvelous and features some of the greatest moments in the history of film. Foster was without any doubt perfect, Hopkins was horrifyingly amazing, and Levine gave one of the scariest but greatest performances of all time.
The story and writing is perfectly adapted and Demme does a fantastic job behind the directors chair. Silence of the Lambs truly deserved all the awards and praise it receives, simply because it is truly perfect and near the top of greats in film.
