Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Paul M — 04 Aug 2013
I think we can all agree that Hannibal Lector has made several movies that were great, and some movies that just plain sucked. this is great. no other film could've dived into the mind of a serial killer as well as Jonathan Demme's horrific portrayal of an FBI agent learning from a known Cannibal to try and capture a cross dressing murderer.
this is a hard film to watch. not because of how graphic it is, but how they chose to show the brutality of these crimes. a perfect movie with a perfect cast and an outstanding story. an American Classic.
