The Silence of the Lambs is a terrifying film. Jodie Foster is great. Anthony Hopkins is the best part of the film. Easily the best part. His performance will keep you watching. It is almost unfortunate that throughout the entire film, you wait for Hannibal Lector to come back onto the screen.
His escape is genius. The only escape scene in any movie that I enjoyed that much was Bruce Wayne from the pit in the Dark Knight Rises and Sarah Connor from the mental hospital in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
The film is a true masterpiece.
