Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Brett H — 30 Oct 2013
Silence of the Lambs is quite possibly the most perfectly put-together thriller ever made and it left it's mark on cinema indefinitely. Everyone knows the famous scenes with Anthony Hopkins but literally every moment his character is on screen, you are on edge and nervously await his next move.
Winner of 5 academy awards (only 2 other films have that accomplishment), it has two of the most memorable screen villains of all time and the acting is nothing short of superb. It's a very sick film, but the brilliant acting of Ted Levine, Jodie Foster, and Anthony Hopkins help make it credible, and mark it's place in film history.
If you haven't seen it, you really should!
