Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Noah P — 19 Jan 2014
Win Academy Awards in all the top five categories: Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay).there is only other two movies can do that.psychological and mystery idea of movie.
about one psycho psychiatrist who arrested in specific jail. Clarice (Jodie Foster) has a job to interview this man, for learn and gather the information about method and mind from this psycho. this psycho, Dr Hannibal (Anthony Hopkins), has a lot of unique ability.
He have strong smell and ability like "Sherlock Holmes" for analysis the condition and everything about people. He can kill people only with his talk, what a scary skill he has. great performances by this two main cast.
this movie more interesting since Hannibal offer to assist the arrest of his patient who psycho too. this man named Bill Buffalo involved in serial murder case. They believed this man is the main suspect.
the titled "SIlence of Lambs" is based on Clarice dream about the screaming lamb, and The Hannibal said "tell me if the lambs stop screaming" .twist came with his method when Hannibal success to out from the jail, very clever idea of that.
but we can see bad acting of Judie Foster when she hold the gun and trying to play this tense scene,it`s failed. this movie left the ending with the Hannibal still live and call Clarice from someplace far, maybe in Africa.
showing us this movie will continue for the first sequel,as we know come in 10 years later titled "Hannibal". Spectacular movie and king of its genre!
