Review of The Silence of the Lambs (1991) by Thomas O — 16 Aug 2015
When you review a film you have to judge every element of it, so here it is: every element was executed perfectly. The raw emotive acting by Jodie foster and Anthony Hopkins, the scarily subtle score which dictates the majority of the atmosphere, the crisp and sharp directing, every costume, every twist and turn is just perfect.
It is fair to say that this beautifully disturbing horror thriller deserved the best picture Oscar and any praise it receives.
