The Silence of the Lambs stunned the world when it was released and is by far the most popular Hannibal Lector film. Jonathan Demme has created an evocative film and Anthony Hopkins is the definite Hannibal Lector.
Jodie Foster is also excellent as the new FBI recruit assigned the task to go talk to Lector in order to nab a serial killer out on the loose. Their interactions are amazing and one of the finest acting pieces in a mainstream Hollywood film.
This is a must watch for anyone who appreciates the power of a good film.
