Review of The Signal (2014) by Lou A — 01 Oct 2014
A highly unique and relatively innovative art-house sci-fi flick. It's as destined to become a cult-classic as its director is to move onto even more interesting projects. Eubank keeps the viewer guessing and in complete suspense from the beginning, to its gorgeously well-done revelatory ending.
Although some plot elements still remain somewhat convoluted, it sort of adds to the film's unsettling tone and narrative, and viewers can still understand the big picture. The performances are also very convincing all around.
