The Signal has moments of greatness and despite its flaws remains engrossing throughout. It sets the stage for great concepts but the story stumbles a bit. Some loose ends are never tied up and the ending leaves some questions unanswered despite a big reveal.
Nevertheless for sci-fi fans it's worth renting on a rainy day.
