Review of The Sicilian (1987) by Ted S — 09 Apr 2008
I finally understand Lambert's appeal for directors -- when he's not available, the rest of the cast can rehearse with a wooden block and get the same quality acting...
Giulia Boschi is astonishingly lovely, but even she and the delightful Barbara Sukowa can't unstuff this turkey.
Terence Stamp was right in the middle of his "anything-for-a-paycheck" period when he made this.
Bad. Really, really bad.
