One of my favorites. The beauty of this movie is, I think, its characters--the confident but tad-egotistical Krolic, the stubborn and self-reliant Klara, the troubled manager, the wily errand boy Peppy, the poor mistreated family-man Pirowitz, and the sleezy yes-man Valdesh--all memorable; all superbly acted; all adding their own charm to the mix to create an unforgettable classic.
