Review of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) by Lynn R — 07 Jan 2009
I liked this movie. BUT I had two issues, one small and one big: the small issue is the ending with the bow-legged stuff (weird and awkward), the big issue is Margaret Sullivan (not worth Jimmy's time in this role).
Other than that, I loved the idea and thought that everything else was pretty hard-to-ignore-cute.
