Review of The Shop Around the Corner (1940) by Robert B — 15 May 2011
A simple romantic comedy shot on a back-lot set, but with superb directing by Ernst Lubitsch and acting by a young Jimmy Stewart and Margaret Sullavan and a wonderful cast performing the screen play written by Samson Raphaelson.
Worth watching many times.
